6. Eligibility The championships shall be open for entry to all member Associations whose subscriptions are not in arrear. All players must be eligible to represent their Associations in accordance with the provisions of article ETTU Regulation (B) B.10.3.3 of the ETTU Handbook. Junior players shall be under 18 years of age and cadet players shall be under 15 years of age on the 31st December immediately before the start of the year in which the championships take place (junior players born on or after 01.01.1989, cadet players born on or after 01.01.1992). A cadet who competes in a junior event may not compete in the corresponding cadet event. Passports of the participating players shall be shown to the ETTU Youth Committee representative upon arrival. When birth dates are not stated in the passports, the team leaders must present Government Birth Certificates of the players concerned. Players of the organising Association shall present their birth certificates. If for various reasons a player’s age or eligibility cannot be established, that player shall be excluded from the Championships.

8. Consolation Events Consolation events will be organised for the players defeated in the qualifying stage and in the first two rounds of the single events. The entry fee in consolation event is 5 EUR and has to be paid in advance.
9. Entries Associations may enter only 1 team in each team event. The organising Association shall be entitled to enter up to 20 players, consisting of not more than 6 junior boys, 6 junior girls, 4 cadet boys and 4 cadet girls, but may not enter more than 5 junior boys and 5 junior girls for the team event. Each other Association shall be entitled to enter up to 18 players, consisting of not more than 5 junior boys, 5 junior girls, 4 cadet boys and 4 cadet girls.
10. Entry fee The entry fee paid to the organising Association is 40 EUR for each participating Association and there is a levy of 125 EUR on each Association participating in a junior team event, payable to the ETTU.

The Draw The draw for team events will take place on the Friday, 9th of June 2007 in the ETTU Secretariat in Wasserbillig, 37, Esplanade de la Moselle, Luxembourg. The draw for individual events shall take place during the playing of the team events. Seeding lists shall be prepared by the ETTU Ranking Committee on the basis of the current Youth Ranking Lists.
13. System of play System of play in team events will be according to ETTU Handbook D.10 and system of play in individual events will be according to ETTU Handbook D.11.
14. Each association is kindly asked to bring their national anthem with the delegation leader.

Hospitality The Organising Association shall provide 50% of the cost of hospitality from the evening on 12th July until the morning on 23rd July, for up to: - 6 players of an Association entering at least 2 junior teams or 1 junior team and 2 cadet teams - 5 players of an Association entering 1 junior team and 1 cadet team - 4 players of an Association entering 2 cadet teams - 3 players of an Association entering 1 junior team - 2 players of an Association entering only 1 cadet team or only individual players - 2 officials of an Association entering 4 teams and 1 official of any other Association entering teams or players
The organising Association shall provide free hospitality from dinner on 12th July until breakfast on 23rd July for the Executive Committee members, the Press and Medical Officials or their deputies, the Chairmen of the Youth, Ranking and Teaching/Training Committees, up to 4 Youth Committee members and 2 ETTU staff members and invited foreign referees and umpires.
The hospitality rate for those who are not entitled for free hospitality is in: - 3star hotels: 74 EUR/person/day in a double room and 85 EUR/person/day in a single room - 4star hotels: 85 EUR/person/day in a double room and 100 EUR/person/day in a single room Please take note that the number of single rooms is limited.
18. Accommodation All participants will be accommodated in hotels of good standard in single, double and triple rooms.
19. Payment of hospitality costs Hospitality costs can be paid upon arrival (before accreditation is done) in cash (only EUROS will be accepted) or in advance by bank transfer in EURO to the following account: No account: 1799995655/0200, IBAN SK82 0200 0000 0017 9999 5655 Bank: Všeobecná úverová banka, Bratislava, SWIFT: SUBA SKBX not later than 30th June 2007.
20. Transport The organizer will provide transport from Vienna Airport to the venue of the EVC and back on request of participants for a fee of 30 EURO per person and from Bratislava Airport and Bratislava Railway Station to the venue of the EYC and back on request of participants free of charge
21. Medical service Permanent medical service (first aid) will be provided in the hall during the whole period of the championships. However, we strongly recommended to each delegation to have injury and health insurance.
22. Gluing Gluing is allowed only at special designated places according to the ITTF regulations. Racket control tests, may be carried out by the ETTU Youth Committee.
23. Video Each participating Association will be allowed to use one video camera for recording matches of their own players. For using other video cameras a fee of 20 EURO shall be paid for the whole EYC period.
24. Visas All associations needing a visa for entering Slovakia, are kindly requested to send the list of participants, coaches and officials (name, surname, year of birth, passport number) to STTA, e–mail: sstz1@ba.telecom.sk, fax:+421 2 4488 8615, which will immediately send the invitation letter, in order to enable the procedure of requiring visas from SVK consulates in their countries.
NOTICE: For all participants of the 50th European Youth Table Tennis Championships: Please send by e-mail 1 passport photo with name in JPG format for the ID card, which all participants will receive at accreditation (players, officials, coaches, referees, umpires).
